The Community of Reston, Virginia

Reston, Virginia, is an internationally-known planned community, with urban areas and green space. This smart planning is regularly reported on in the local papers, and has attracted huge companies. Fortune 500 companies Nextel and Sallie Mae call Reston home, and it is the location of Google's government affairs office. Driving through Bristol RI on June 29, 2010. Welcome to Bristol! It's quiet in this video now (as it was filmed in the morning), but the party has already started! Come on down for concerts, the carnival, and the 4th to see the fireworks and stay for the parade on the 5th (this year). It's Bristol's 225th years of getting drunk and rowdy by using 'Patriotism' as an excuse!! Over 300000 people will be in attendance for the biggest party in New England EVA!!!!!! ;-)

3rd times a charm

I saw Muse three times in five days back in October, and traveled from NYC to NJ all the way down to Virginia. I have know seen them 11 times in concert. Have spent over $1500 in concert tickets, and merch. I have seen new muse fans leave reborn and in shock after what they had experienced, and I have seen old school Muse fans like myself rock out like it was the first time they'd seen Muse all over again. I tried over and over to be able to meet them, but I always JUST missed them. I am determined to meet them one day and thank them from the bottom of my heart for changing my life. Muse are my muse. The delay is a function of my schedule. There are many ways in which a twenty-something might spend her days in Europe, I believe with great conviction that I have concocted a completely unique way to fill my time, ie, by eating onion soup. I do not have a particular affinity for onion soup in general however I have nevertheless developed an addiction for the dish. What's more, I am not fat. I eat the infamous soup roughly 4 times a week, often with friends but sometimes I do it alone, which is how I arrived at the fact that I was truly an addict. The staff at the onion soupery know me well, they tell me there are other things on the menu, other soups even, but I -like most addicts- do not hear their words, they are mere distractions to my eventual euphoria. While I am not experiencing the purest of ecstasies I am travelling. Several weeks ago Virginia and I visited Cologne. To our surprise our arrival was met with a huge carnival, aptly named 'Carnival'. As we exited the train station at 12 noon, the streets were filled with men and women of all ages, fully clad in the most festive attire. All ...
