Chesterfield county offers a great beginner class to get you started. The video above shows clips from the 2-day class. Day 1 is flatwater at Dutch Gap, Day 2 is a James River whitewater run from The Pony Pastures to James River Park before Belle Island.

I have tried to do justice to the beauty and elegance of this city, which has a disproportionate amount of substantial architecture for its small size. Many of the buildings photographed here date from the mid 19th century. The oldest buildings date from the 1820s-1830s.

Third day of camp. The High Adventure scouts were off almost all day white water rafting in West Virginia. The Golden Eagle patrol participated in the Indian Lore games.
