Historic Colonial Williamsburg, Virginia

Stroll with us through Colonial Williamsburg. It is the historic district of the city of Williamsburg, Virginia, USA. The district includes buildings dating from 1699 to 1780 which made colonial Virginia's capital. Williamsburg was the center of government, education and culture in the Colony of Virginia.

smith family’s upper new rafting trip 1

This is a clip of the first rapid on our family rafting trip with Rivermen last summer. This trip was perfect for our family; now our kids appreciate the outdoors and my husband and I plan on heading back next year. Rivermen's base camp, especially their cabins, is wonderful. We cannot wait to head back. Thanks Rivermen!

Kelly’s 1st Upper Gauley Trip 3

Finally did it. I have been rafting on the New and Lower Gauley the past few years and I finally stepped up to the Upper and it was a blast. Can't rave about Class VI enough, can't wait till next year.

Mount Vernon – Alexandria, Virginia

Visit the home of the "Father of our Country", George Washing's plantation home, Mount Vernon. Tour through the outbuildings and walk on the same ground Martha and George did in the 1700's. The mansion is built of wood in neoclassical Georgian architectural style, and the estate is located on the banks of the Potomac River.
