In 2007, Second Baptist Church Houston, Texas did something very special at Christmas time. Along with many other Christmas activities, the Bible Study classes all had the activity of building a ginger bread house based on an actual home from Colonial Williamsburg, Virginia. The homes were then placed into a village setting. Many people toured the "village" and of course experienced the warm welcome of the church family. I was fortunate enough to come in during the morning hours before many arrived and captured some of these scenes which I hope you enjoy.

Factory Antique Mall in Shenandoah Valley is largest of its kind eastern US

The Factory Antique Mall in Verona, Va. is the largest on the East Coast, with over 90000 square feet of space. It's a virtual indoor city of Americana, with aisles so long, they have street names. We talk with General Manager Jason Brinkely about why it's been so successful.

Going home; from Orlando, Florida to Manchester (UK)

After 3 awesome weeks in Florida, we fly home from Orlando International Airport to Manchester (UK). Scenes from the aircraft - Virgin Atlantic 744 - G-VTOP (Virginia Plain) as she takes off from MCO are interspersed with flash-backs from our holiday/vacation as we reluctantly set off for home. The Blue sky's of Florida turn into the grey of Manchester
