Just outside of Reno, on the other side of the Geiger Grade, is Virginia City, Nevada. Famous for being the town that hosted the Bonanza TV show, the quaint little mountain town is long past its heyday as a mining town. Now it's all about tourism, drinking, tourism, and playing the role of Baby Branson in America's family of tourist traps. But all in all, I give it a thumbs up for politeness, good prices, cleanliness and parking. Good times.
