Spring and summer are the best times to visit.. Chesapeake Bay Bridge & Tunnel N Write or call for letter that will permit you to stop on island 2,3 and as you cross the bridgetunnel. The park is also great for fall songbirds. Shenandoah National Park N Skyline Drive is beautiful experience.
