Upper New River

The Upper New travels through exceptionally scenic canyons on relatively calm water with rapids that are mild in nature, so the whole family can enjoy it. There are lots of places to romp and play or simply kick back and enjoy the breathtaking scenery of the gorge. It's the perfect place to instill self-confidence, share a little laughter and literally test the waters of new experiences. This trip if fun no matter what age or ability level.

Christopher’s Upper Gauley Bachelor Party 2

Hey boys, here is our video. I think we are going to start making this an annual thing. This year Chris & I have been talking about doing the overnight. The guide last year said Class VI has an amazing overnight spot with hot tubs and a chef. Let him or I know by June; I can't wait.

There are few things that truly activate your senses and awaken your inner adventurer; the Gauley River experience does that to you. With five class V rapids and a 14' waterfall the Upper Gauley river is the essence of big water excitement creating an intense experience not recommended for the faint-of-heart. The Lower Gauley is a step down in intensity, but not in fun. With over 70 rapids in 14 miles, this trip is filled with breathtaking canyon scenery, rollercoaster wave trains and powerful hydraulics.

Spring/Summer Gauley River

Very few rafters, even seasoned veterans, ever give themselves the chance to run this amazing river outside the fall drawdown season, but the spring/summer Gauley is a secret ready to be exposed. You'll have the river totally to yourself, experiencing the big thrills the Gauley has at all kinds of different water levels, in all kinds of different inflatables.

This is Lost Paddle Rapid on the Upper Gauley rafting with Rivermen Whitewater. This year was my first time going with Rivermen after a few years of rafting with other companies - I will never go with another outfitter after this trip. There basecamp and service were top notch. The lunch on the river was amazing. I cannot wait to go next year.
