Malabar Farm State park is the former home of Louis Bromfield, best selling author. In later life he was a agriculturalist who advocated grass farming as a sustainable method for using and renewing the soil. Sideling Hill is a road cut about 840 feet deep which slices through a syncline which forms the long hill known as Sideling Hill. Sideling Hill is a long ridge that runs from West Virginia through Maryland and into Pennsylvania in a SW to NE direction.
