If you had the choice between going to Busch Gardens Williamsburg in Aug or Sept. Which would you choose?

I have two choices here. I can either go 14-21 in Aug or 19-26 in Sept. Aug is more crowds & Hotter. But in Sept the parks will be open only on the weekend, Water Country will be closed, and so will our hotel pool. We have two small Kids (18months & 5yrs) Thanks for the advice.
