With five class V rapids and a 14' waterfall the Upper Gauley river is the essence of big water excitement creating an intense experience not recommended for the faint-of-heart. The Lower Gauley is a step down in intensity, but not in fun. With over 70 rapids in 14 miles, this trip is filled with breathtaking canyon scenery, rollercoaster wave trains and powerful hydraulics.
