This facility will be the newest High Adventure™ Base as well as the permanent home to Scouting's National Jamboree. The Summit will not only host the National Jamboree and be Scouting's fourth High Adventure Base™, but will also serve as a summer camp and year-round training facility for tomorrow's leaders. Venturers will also find a new home in the hills of West Virginia and will be invited to join the biggest party in Scouting at the 2013 Jamboree. How could you not be excited about the next 100 years of Scouting? There is no better place to host the Boy Scouts of America than West Virginia's New River Gorge. Within quick driving distance of multiple airports and urban areas, The Summit will combine travel convenience with real action and adventure. Scouts and Scouters from across the world will have easy access to the wild and wonderful wilderness in West Virginia. So what is there to do at The Summit? In short, plenty.
