We took I-79 down into West Virginia, went through the mountains... and I mean up and down and around for hours on S curvy roads, then across Virginia on 64 and 264 right onto the beach. It was the scenic route, and well worth the extra time. It was beautiful the whole way. Pulled up at The Four Sails Resort literally on Virginia Beach around dinner time. We were WOWed when we stepped into our 3rd floor condo by the great view of the boardwalk, beach, and ocean. A nice big balcony, kitchen, and huge jacuzzi tub. For the less than $200 a night, this is a great value. The hotel... or condotel is nothing fancy, but clean, not worn out, and you can't beat the location and views. Just walk out onto the boardwalk to access the beach, restaurants, about a dozen nightly street concerts, and shopping. And don't forget the great biking. There is a seperate lane on the boardwalk for bikes... really nice for bikers and walkers. There is not much of a lobby in the building, just a front desk, but there is a public computer, and internet access in each condo. There is a cafe as well that has outdoor seating if you want it. The parking garage is for Four Sails only, and is kinda small and difficult to navigate with a large vehicle. There is one ...
